Dream Buds Foundation extended support to the needy local vendors. The underprivileged vendors who are talented, skilful and creative in their art, let us buy their beautifully handmade local products and support their dream. The foundation supported them for Earthen pots, Diya’s specially made to be sold on Diwali by the vendors.
 
The Foundation supported Sameer and his family, underprivileged artisan vendors who make earthen pots, Diya’s and Diwali products to sell this festive season. As per his need, we provided him with the paints, oils, brushes for his products. Upon selling his products on Diwali, he shall be able to earn money.
 
During Diwali, Lighted up the jhuggis (huts) of the underprivileged and celebrating Diwali with those who need us and adding a spark to their life. Volunteers reached at a slum area and put up lights on jhuggis of the poor, lighted up candles with them all around and distributed sweets to all and spent quality time interacting with them on the special occasion of Diwali. Their cheerful faces, a genuine festive excitement amongst all of them and sparkling lights made it a perfect Diwali.
 
In the next philanthropic initiative, Tim Hortons and Dream Buds Foundation’s associated to support the needy and spread love and warmth in journey of dreams of the underprivileged. The philanthropic initiative focused on supporting the dreams of the needy at a Government school in Mullanpur Garibdas, district Kharar, Punjab, India. Twenty five needy girls as chosen by the school and who are talented and have aspirations to pursue music in life and nurture the dream of music, were donated musical instruments such as Harmonium, Tabla Set, trumpets, clappers, maracus by Dream Buds Foundation. A school band will be formed of these twenty five girls. The foundation was joined by Tim Hortons to spread love, warmth and a spark in the journey of their dreams and Tim Hortons donuts were distributed amongst the needy girls.
 
Also Imran, a resident of Khandoli village, Punjab, India and studying in this school, who is a talented Dhol player and is skilled at his art and has a dream of being a dhol player. His father died many years ago because of liver ailment. Dream Buds Foundation donated him a dhol stand. He needed a dhol stand as he expressed that he faced a difficulty when beating the dhol (musical instrument).
