Celebrating womanhood and realising the dream of needy ladies, in the next recent initiative of Dream Buds Foundation, sewing machines have been donated amongst the poor ladies and those skilled in the work of stitching, sewing and repairs. During our pilot survey, we identified that these ladies have talent and art but do not have a machine of their own whereby their skill can be implemented. Having a sewing machine of their own would give them freedom to pursue their art and therefore further help them gain economic independence.

The women were overwhelmed and emotional to receive sewing machines and shared about their long impending dream of having their own independent machine. Sweets were distributed and the volunteers spent quality time with them and spread awareness regarding their rights, gender equality, women empowerment and importance of mental health.
