To mark the onset of festive season, the festival of Teej was celebrated with the underprivileged poor rural women and girls living in the Faidan slum area, India.

 

The volunteers adorned the arms of ladies and girls with colourful bangles to mark the special occasion, danced with them om traditional indian songs and distributed drinks and yellow sweet rice, specially made on the festival.

 

A documentary film ‘Dreams’ made on the Foundation’s philanthropic journey was showcased in the International Film Festival at Frederick Woods Theatre, UBC, Vancouver, Canada.
