Dream Buds Foundation is a Registered Trust (under The Indian Trusts Act, 1882). The Foundation is a public charitable trust which aims to encourage and support the underprivileged who have been unable to realise and fulfil their dreams and potentials because of lack of resources, environment, support, guidance, impoverished conditions or circumstances by providing them with opportunities, resources, awareness and guidance to fulfil and nurture their dreams and add a spark and meaning to their lives. The foundation is social, non political, non governmental and voluntary in character and solely created for the purpose of public welfare.

Diljott

Founder

Diljott is the founder of Dream Buds Foundation. Diljott is an actress and a philanthropist. She has done her Masters in Human Rights from Panjab University, Chandigarh and stood first in the University in Masters for which she has been felicitated with a University Gold Medal. Diljott has done Public Policy Course from Harvard University, USA. She has studied International Development from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She has done her Graduation, Bachelors of Arts (Psychology Honors) from PGGCG, Sector 11, Panjab University, Chandigarh and has topped in the University then too and was honored with a University Gold Medal. Twice a University Gold Medalist, she has also done Post Graduate Course in NGO Management from Amity University, Noida. Furthermore, Diljott has a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from NGO Management School, Geneva, Switzerland and has also written three research papers for the International Journals. Based on her profile, she also got the opportunity to be a part of Youth Human Rights Training at United Nations Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland in 2014. Diljott upgraded her knowledge and academic skills and subsequently forayed into the field of social and community service.

Dream Buds Foundation aims to promote the following goals and objectives for the benefit of underprivileged children, youth or whosoever (irrespective of age, gender, caste, creed or religion):

1.1 To provide them with opportunities and an environment to dream and realize their potentials.
1. 2 To engage them in various creative and artistic initiatives which will help them to grow and develop their personalities wholly.
1.3. To provide them with a platform to aspire, pursue their dreams, hone up their hidden skills and talent and help them discover their creative aspect which will eventually build their self-esteem.
1.4. To initiate a sense of equality and a desire amongst them so as to compete with the privileged counter parts and eventually bridge the prevalent gaps in the society.
